An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations & Maintenance Technician (OMT) to join our team in South Hedland! This position reports to the Supervisor, South Hedland Power Station (SHPS) with day-to-day functional interaction and communication with the Regional Plant Manager and the Regional Control Centre Operators. The OMTs will have an overall focus on the safe and efficient Operations and Maintenance of TransAlta’s operating assets at South Hedland Power Station. The position is primarily day shift with occasional night shift duties with an 8/6 FIFO from Perth. Occasional travel to all operating sites is also a requirement of this position.
