Assist with the preparation and update of water quality plans and programs including coliform monitoring, disinfection byproducts, unregulated contaminant monitoring, and lead and copper for the District’s water systems. Assist with special projects, studies, and Department of Health sanitary surveys to ensure water treatment optimization and optimal water distribution system water quality for the District’s water systems. </li><li>Contribute to the timely and quality execution of water quality monitoring and sampling programs by assisting with oversight of the District’s Water Utility water quality laboratory, preparation of laboratory and field sampling and testing standard operating procedures, development of training materials, and training of employees in proper water quality sampling and testing procedures and practices.
